The tallest of all dog breeds, the Irish Wolfhound, dislikes stairs so consider moving to a ranch home for these extra tall pups. Irish Wolfhounds generally like all people and even some cats. The gentle Irish Wolfhound is a terrible guard dog because he's just too darn sweet and social.
